What is Quite Marks?

Quiet Marks exists to document and uplift the voices of local creators of all kinds—from painters and photographers to poets, musicians, tattoo artists, crafters, filmmakers, and beyond. In a time when community matters more than ever, this zine creates space for connection, expression, and shared experience. We believe in the people here—the creativity, resilience, and stories shaped by this place—and we’re committed to preserving the marks they leave behind through honest, inclusive, community-driven art.

SPONSOR A ZINE

Why It Matters:

Quiet Marks is a monthly zine celebrating the voices of local artists—painters, photographers, poets, tattoo artists, filmmakers, musicians, crafters, and more. Each issue documents the creativity and resilience of our Minnesota community, preserving the marks artists leave behind and sharing their work with a growing local audience.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking local businesses to help cover printing costs for Quiet Marks. Your support will directly enable artists to have their work published, seen, and collected. Sponsorships are flexible and can be recognized in print, giving your business visibility while supporting the local arts scene.

What You Get:

Recognition as a sponsor in print and digital promotions
Inclusion in a dedicated sponsor section in the zine (size flexible depending on number of sponsors)

Alignment with a project that celebrates local creativity, community, and self-expression
A tangible connection to Minnesota’s arts community

We’d love to discuss your potential sponsorship for an upcoming issue. Packages are flexible, and any contribution makes a meaningful impact. Please reach out to @High_Up_North to be part of Quiet Marks and support Minnesota’s creative community.

Creator Commitment

Quiet Marks is a monthly, independently produced zine. I am committed to releasing one issue every month, each consisting of at least 16 pages including covers, with 7–8 original pieces of my own work alongside featured community submissions.

Each issue will be printed in a minimum run of 25–30 copies, regardless of sponsorship or donation support. This ensures the zine remains consistent, accessible, and present within the local creative community.

Every issue will be distributed at local spots within the first few days of the month, keeping Quiet Marks timely, tangible, and rooted in place. This project is built on reliability, intention, and a long-term commitment to documenting and supporting local creative voices.
